Um, no. Just no.
The Top 3 Excuses for Falling off the Paleo Wagon I often hear about are lack of time, lack of money or just not being prepared. And then it’s often followed by the junkiest food choice you’ve ever heard of.
If you don’t want to follow a paleo or real food lifestyle that is totally cool but you don’t need to resort to crap either.
There are days where your dinners might be something thanksgiving dinner worthy and others where you quickly cook up a pound of ground beef and toss in some vegetables and call it dinner. Most days we fall in the latter camp. Or perhaps you stop by the store on your way home after leaving work late and pickup a rotisserie chicken with some vegetables or a bag of salad. Is it ideal? What is your 20%? What foods can you absolutely not fathom giving up?

Haha! Thanks Renee!
I can’t fathom never having my mother-in-law’s white flour, butter-slathered crescent rolls again. You don’t know what you’re missing, so you’re okay. Me? I find them absolutely necessary for a fulfilling life. I haven’t gone paleo yet, but I have health issues and I’m circling the waters …
